Feet take us everywhere we want to go. They deserve a little TLC. Here is a spa pedicure guide that will do the trick. It will take about 30 to 45 minutes.
-
Prepare a plastic container big enough to fit both your feet in comfortably.
-
Fill it with very warm water and add your favorite bath salts with a little lavender oil and chamomile leaves. These have excellent relaxing properties that will soothe your tired, aching feet.
-
Soak your feet for about ten minutes.
-
With a stiff pedicure brush, give your feet and toes a good scrub
-
Dry feet, Clip your toenails and file any rough edges away
-
Apply a cuticle softener; after a few minutes, push back the cuticles gently using an orangewood stick
-
Use a pumice stone to smooth away rough skin areas and remove any callouses on your heals
-
Use an exfoliating cream and massage into feet and wipe off
-
Then apply a moisturizing cream in order to hydrate the skin, as well as improve flexibility and promote relaxation. Don’t forget your toes!
-
Put on toe separators to help keep toes from touching each other while applying polish.
-
Apply a base coat, then add two coats of your favorite nail polish color. Follow with a topcoat.
There you go. Now your feet are ready for anything and don't you feel pretty? There is something about a fresh pedicure that make you feel pretty, polished and complete. Happy feet!
